Job summary

Northern Gold Foods, a co-manufacturer of breakfast and snack products, is hiring Production Shift Leads at our Junction City, Oregon facility. The role supports a 4x10 hour night shift (Mon-Thu) or a 3x12 hour night shift (Fri-Sun).

You will lead a team of Production Operators and coordinate daily production activities to meet objectives. We emphasize quality, safety, and teamwork, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be detailed oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Able to receive, digest and implement feedback from leadership.
• Experience in food manufacturing/production preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is an asset but not mandatory.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English clearly for job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Production Operators to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure production activities meet quality and safety standards.
• Prepare production reports including efficiency and waste.
• Orient new employees to processes and policies.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance and Warehouse.
