Job summary

Verst Logistics is seeking a Production Line Lead for the 12-hour night shift (6:00pm to 6:00am) on a 4-3 rotation in Packaging. You will direct and coordinate line workers to keep the production line safe and efficient, reporting to the Production Supervisor, with non-exempt status.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior production line experience, plus strong leadership, detail orientation, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on a production line in a fast-paced environment.
• Good leadership skills and ability to prioritize projects.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Good attendance and punctuality record.

Responsibilities

• Directs, leads and monitors production line staff to ensure product quality meets customer specs.
• Communicates with Packaging Operators about work orders, issues and productivity.
• Oversees changeovers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitors label machine productivity and changes labels as needed.
• Identifies operational concerns and communicates with supervision and maintenance.
• Checks products for specified requirements and removes damaged items.
• Completes production kits and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Resolves line issues and assists workers in problem solving.
• Coordinates with Forklift Operator on replenishment and delivery to line.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
