Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills across departments.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines and adjust to business needs.
• Proficient knowledge of technology including computers and software programs (MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes to confirm production specifications are met.
• Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, policies and procedures.
• Inspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve machine setups, production samples, and/or shipments as necessary.
• Identify and report opportunities for continual improvement.
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood.
• Ensure the "Quality Policy and Objectives" are understood and achieved.
• May provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracy.
• May update and maintain shift schedules in the time and attendance system, as well as enter attendance transactions.
