Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a production/ manufacturing supervisor to drive safety, quality, cost and schedule on the factory floor. The role leads a production team, manages staffing, and coordinates with engineering, quality and operations to meet program needs.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree, 2+ years in production or manufacturing, lean manufacturing experience, and familiarity with shop floor systems such as SAP, iMRO or CMES. On-site 1st shift.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years in production/manufacturing
• Experience managing a production team
• Experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling and lean manufacturing concepts
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality, cost, and schedule execution on the factory floor.
• Supervise day-to-day factory operations, resource loading, process control, and metrics.
• Interface with Production Associates, Production Control, Program Operations, Quality, Engineering, Environmental Health andSafety, and Factory Management.
• Workforce planning and forecasting, employee training, time and attendance tracking, area layout and flow management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Engage with other functional areas for continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule performance.
• Willing to work off-shift and overtime as required by program and factory needs
