Job summary

Cherry in California, Santa Ana, is seeking a production-focused operator coordinator to ensure timely, quality production and safe handling of materials. You will support machine operators, assist with work orders, and coordinate with engineers, quality, and planners to meet shipping requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising production quality, training operators, and performing basic maintenance. This role emphasizes safety, proper labeling, and adherence to environmental regulations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
5-8 years of experience required.
Strong blueprint reading and measurement/inspection skills.

Responsibilities

Oversees and monitors production to ensure quality standards are met.
Assists in scheduling work orders for production and interfaces with engineers, the Quality department, and Planners.
May perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
May operate production machinery when there are personnel shortages or changes in scheduling.
Assists in the training and development of operators.
Complies with all environmentally safe practices and regulations.
Reads MSDS and understands labeling and storage requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Ensures scrap collection in their Focused Factory is properly controlled and disposed.
