Job summary

Cherry in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Plating Operator to apply Post Chromate coatings and support the Plating department. You will handle racking, chemical additions, and inspections while maintaining equipment and documentation throughout the production cycle.

The role requires 2-3 years of plating experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On-site, full-time position with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years of related plating/operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and equipment guidelines.
• Adhere to quality processes and in-process inspections.
• Access and interpret documentation (C-Specs).
• Lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform intermediate racking and loading of product (Basic Platting).
• Make intermediate chemical additions (Acids, Cyanides).
• Perform in-process inspection (X-ray Unit).
• Meet area/product production standards.
• Complete process and operation documentation.
• Work in a team environment and assist others as needed.
