Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Scheduling Assistant to manage daily evaluation and loading of incoming orders to achieve on-time delivery. You will slot orders within capacity constraints, confirm material availability, and communicate daily production plans to purchasing and manufacturing teams.

This role requires strong Excel skills, data analysis, and collaboration across departments. Weekend/overtime may be required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, power query, and charting.
• Knowledge of capacity planning and production smoothing.

Responsibilities

• Slot incoming orders within capacity constraints for production plans.
• Determine material availability and adjust schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiencies.
• Develop and communicate daily production plans to purchasing and manufacturing teams.
• Communicate ship dates via EDI to relevant teams.
• Prepare production tickets and job jackets for manufacturing.
• Support process improvements and participate in cross-functional projects.
• Monitor schedule adherence to maximize on-time delivery.
