Job summary

Weld Tooling Corporation (Bug-O Systems) is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed production schedules, aligning demand with capacity, materials, and labor in an OEM setting. You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and sales to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource use.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and inventory, monitoring progress, and quoting lead-times for critical finished goods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production scheduling in an MRP/MRPII environment.
• Experience in procurement or contract manufacturing.

• Coordinate out-plant process material/service orders and assist expediting when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Weld Tooling Corporation (Bug-O Systems) is seeking a Production Scheduler responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing detailed production schedules that align customer demand, capacity, materials, and labor availability. This position will be working cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and sales, and will ensure on-time delivery, optimal resource utilization, and smooth production flow within an OEM environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilize ERP/MRP System, develop/manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement, inventory teams to ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with Production Managers and assist in implementing production schedules to meet production requirements and commitments.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes
• Collaborate with the Production Control Manager to analyze capacity requirements to align with production plans and sales requirements/forecasts.
• Support inventory accuracy and material issues to maintain commitments to customer orders
• Collaborate with and assist Production Control Manager to establish and/or quote lead-times for critical finished goods for the support of the Sales Department
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
• Analyze capacity capabilities and constraints to recommend adjustments in all manufacturing areas to maintain “On-Time Delivery” expectations
• Coordinate “Out Plant Process” material/service orders.
• Assist Procurement Department in purchasing and expediting when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
