Job summary

Jabil is seeking a production-focused professional to oversee manufacturing processes and assist in establishing production priorities to meet output goals while controlling costs.

You will coordinate with procurement, maintenance and quality teams, monitor line metrics, reduce scrap, and drive continuous improvement. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience are preferred.

Strong knowledge of logistics, data analysis, and office software is helpful.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
• Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company's business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
• Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
• Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
• Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
• Strong and convincing communication skills.
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Responsibilities

• Confer with management to establish production and quality standards.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control.
• Review reports to determine causes of nonconformity and production problems.
• Minimize scrap and manage MRO usage; ensure clean workstations.
• Monitor production metrics and complete monthly report cards.
• Ensure adherence to policies and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
• Monitor SPC system to fix repetitive problems and maintain production data.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
