Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL, and SAP.
• Strong strategic thinking, complex problem-solving, analytical abilities, and communication skills to effectively convey technical instructions to production teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, maintain product quality, and minimize operational costs.
• Analyze existing workflows to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve machine and labor productivity.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to diagnose and resolve technical breakdowns, equipment failures, and production-related issues.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and statistical process controls to ensure products consistently meet required quality standards.
• Support machinery placement, evaluate production line capacity, and coordinate with technicians on preventive maintenance activities.
• Establish and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols across the manufacturing floor.
• Work closely with product design, supply chain, vendors, technicians, and management to support the smooth transition of new products into mass production.
