Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a full-time process engineer to support daily production, quality, and process improvement activities on the manufacturing floor.

You will analyze process performance, define processing sequences, develop PFMEA, and collaborate with design, quality, and suppliers to resolve issues and reduce waste.

Strong knowledge of Minitab, FMEA, APQP, and GD&T is required; associate degree or equivalent and computer skills are a must.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent required.
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
  • Computer knowledge and experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee processing and processing parameters involved with new samples.
  • Develop original process specifications and approve revisions; assist PFMEA development.
  • Troubleshoot and fix production problems to maintain control.
  • Coordinate FMEA as required by IATF16949 or customer requirements.
  • Work with engineering and quality teams in a team environment.
  • Study customer specs and consult design/quality to optimize parameters.
