Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring a Production Coordinator to support the Operations team in scheduling, inventory management and procurement of raw materials and supplies. You will help optimize production plans and ensure alignment with material availability.

The role requires strong communication, planning and computer skills, with exposure to Lawson ERP. This is a full-time position based in the United States, with opportunities for growth within the Mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework in business.
• Knowledge of business products and strong communication skills are required.
• Experience with Excel and Word and Lawson Business System is preferred.
• Ability to learn product technical information and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Issue production schedule(s) to plants to maximize on-time delivery.
• Advise on shipping information and delivery dates.
• Communicate material status and planning issues with production and purchasing.
• Collaborate with Operations or Plant Manager on inventory levels.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Order and supervise unloading of raw materials.
• Order parts and supplies and receive in the Purchasing System.
• Assist Operations Manager and EH&S Manager with safety training.
• Perform other duties as requested.
