Job summary

Libra Industries seeks an Associate Production Planner to manage the flow of jobs on the production floor, update reports in the MRP system, and provide status updates to internal customers. The role supports scheduling, capacity coordination, and priority alignment with Production Supervisors and the Master Scheduler to ensure timely releases and responsive problem solving.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience in MRP environments;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other related business tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Production/Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Program Management, and Engineering to align build strategy and ensure tactical execution.
• Resolve problems or conflicts that may prevent achieving customer-delivered dates.
• Ensure all shop orders are fully planned and released to the floor on time; support shop floor planning and execution.
• Support the Planner with sizing and scheduling new orders.
• Review scheduling and rescheduling requests for existing orders, analyzing BOM and production requirements to meet delivery dates.
• Maintain capacity resources in shop floor control to drive accurate demand planning and scheduling.
• Assist Planning and others in keeping shop order start and due dates synchronized for optimal planning and execution.
• Work with Production Supervisors and support the Production Manager with priority, capacity, and resource management.
• Maintain the shop floor tracking system for shop orders and kit management; collaborate with Supply Chain for timely kit flow.
• Monitor KPIs and provide feedback to drive improvements.
