Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC is seeking a Production Planner Scheduler I to analyze MRP outputs, release production orders, and ensure accuracy of order documentation. The role supports manufacturing operations and inventory control in a warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in a related role, with exposure to cloud-based ERP systems and CPIM certification preferred. On-site work in Roanoke, VA is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of functional experience in a related role.
• Experience working in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of electronic component manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP systems in a production-order environment preferred.
• Ability to work with various software applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aging production orders in WIP.
• Track material shortages affecting WIP and releases.
• Review planned orders due for release and ensure timely execution.
• Release production orders as scheduled, ensuring no material shortages.
• Maintain accuracy of production order documentation prior to kitting.
• Maintain open production orders and perform ongoing updates.
• Respond to MRP signals for manufactured items with prompt action.
• Monitor second-issue material movements to WIP.
• Support daily shortage meetings and production coordination.
• Participate in periodic WIP floor audits and reconciliations.
• Support warehouse inventory accuracy counts and reconciliations.
• Prioritize inbound materials based on MRP requirements.
• Prepare and send material kits to support external production orders.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
