Job summary

Creare in Hanover, NH seeks a Production Planner who will serve as the operational link between Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring peak efficiency of the machine shop and technical teams. You will manage the fabrication lifecycle from planning to final assembly oversight.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a production/technical environment, a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, and strong skills in reading blueprints and GD&T, ERP/MRP systems, and project management software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production/machining/technical manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, GD&T, and schematics.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software.
• Strong communication between engineering and technical teams.
• Identifies bottlenecks and reroutes resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Fabrication Center Manager to prioritize work orders.
• Monitor workflow bottlenecks and adjust schedules for throughput.
• Serve as interim daily lead for machine shop activities and workflow.
• Review BOMs for completeness and accuracy before floor use.
• Manage technical documentation and ensure latest drawings are on hand.
• Coordinate assembly and calibration tasks requiring technical oversight.
• Schedule inspections to meet design intent and identify improvments.
