Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal (Level 3) Production Planner and Scheduler for the Armament Systems unit, located in Mesa, AZ. This role plans and controls production schedules, coordinates with quality, manufacturing, and purchasing, and ensures materials flow to meet deadlines.

We expect strong knowledge of production control principles, ERP/MRP processes, and Costpoint/MES experience. A Bachelor’s degree with significant related experience is required, with DoD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
• High school diploma with 9 years of related experience.
• Experience in Costpoint and MES a plus.
• Experience in MS Office applications.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience planning in ERP systems & familiar with the MRP process.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and control production schedules to meet requirements.
• Coordinate material requirements and move orders with departments.
• Advise management on status of work in progress and potential problems.
• Schedule equipment and personnel per master production schedule.
