Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector seeks a Production Planner (Level 2) or Principal Production Planner (Level 3) to join the Magna, UT team. You will manage manufacturing orders, coordinate with MRP systems, and ensure materials flow to support production schedules.

Requirements include an engineering-related degree, security clearance eligibility, and strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with Costpoint and shop-floor software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a U.S. government security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with MRP systems and manufacturing scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality controls.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, manage, and maintain manufacturing orders for production.
• Utilize Costpoint and other MRP tools to align materials with schedules.
• Interface with planning, receiving QC, and operations to ensure timely inventory.
• Monitor material availability and ensure on-time delivery to production lines.
• Advise on status of work in progress and potential production problems.
