Job summary

Farwest is seeking a Production Planner to schedule and coordinate workflow across departments, ensuring on-time delivery and optimized production. The role involves reviewing production schedules, prioritizing work orders, and communicating with operations, sales, and vendors to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate brings strong Excel skills, English communication, and a solid grasp of scheduling and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate workflow within and between departments to expedite production.
• Review master production schedule and work orders; set priorities for customer orders and projects.
• Communicate rush requests between operations, sales, purchasing, shipping, and programming.
• Coordinate contract reviews for special projects and gather information for stakeholders.
• Manage Estimated Delivery Date calculator to maximize production and minimize late deliveries.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on delivery KPIs and lead weekly performance reviews.
