Job summary

United Precision Corporation is seeking a Production Planner/Expeditor in Washougal, WA. The role focuses on optimizing production, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and meeting customer delivery requirements.

You will liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Production to resolve shortages, backlogs, and design changes. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 0–2 years in production planning within ERP systems, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• 0–2 years’ production planning experience within an ERP system.
• 0–2 years’ relevant manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to manage forecasted to production orders and lead times.
• Generate SAP forecasts and reports by product groups and project codes to assess demand and improvements.
• Optimize production workflow to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate changes to production orders for capacity and constraints.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to maintain inventory levels and align deliveries with production schedules.
• Coordinate inter-department handoffs for complex, expedited, or stalled orders.
• Enter customer requirements, PDOs, BOMs, and updates in SAP with Business Process Manager.
• Support ERP and planning system implementations for real-time tracking.
