Job description

Ensure that all necessary requirements for replenishment are properly planned and that the production operations at the site are planned and executed to maximize customer service levels. Owns and executes the finite schedule for his/her product line.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Evaluate MRP results, validate and convert planned orders into process orders.
2. Maintain Finite Schedule for the product line/plant.
3. Manage stock levels of MTS (Make to Stock) items.
4. Generate, prepare, and cut batch tickets for distribution to manufacturing.
5. Create and validate procurement requisitions and confirm them.
6. Act as back-up to other Finite Schedulers for his/her product line.
7. Participate and engage in bi-yearly physical inventory.
8. Maintain planning parameters in the material master in cooperation with the Supply Chain team.
9. Analyze equipment to determine production sequences.
10. Create purchase requisitions and process outstanding POs.
11. Correct inventory entries and perform cycle counts.
12. Set up and modify formulas, material creations, and extensions.
13. Configure BOM recipes and batch calculators.
14. Verify shipping and receiving paperwork, process SAP transactions, and create delivery tickets for outbound shipments.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with SAP or similar MRP system.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations, focusing on production and inventory planning.
• Excellent communication skills to interact at all company levels.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
• Attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy and results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
