Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in production/logistics.
• Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes and assist Supervisor in establishing production priorities with effective operations and cost factors.
• Confer with management to establish production and quality control standards and obtain data on products ordered and delivery dates.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
• Review production, quality control, maintenance, and operation reports to identify nonconformities and resolve issues with supervisors.
• Help minimize scrap and MRO usage, ensure clean workstations, and implement methods to eliminate problems and improve metrics.
• Monitor all production metrics and complete monthly report cards, driving continuous improvements in defects per million.
• Ensure line employees understand and follow policies, and maintain proper stocking of operations supplies.
• Monitor SPC system to fix repetitive problems and store/retrieve production data.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
