Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Production Specialist for the 1st shift in Cartersville, GA. The role oversees manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality, with lean practices and business system familiarity as desirable.

You will analyze production data, coordinate with quality and supply chain, maintain production reports, manage materials, and support floor troubleshooting while upholding Atkore's values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on, accountable team player with ability to learn and teach others.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with quality control to inspect products and ensure standards.
• Develop production reports and documentation for management.
• Manage inventory of materials and tools, including stock counts.
• Provide technical floor support to troubleshoot equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with supply chain to ensure smooth material flow.
• Enforce workplace safety protocols on the production floor.
• Assist in scheduling production activities and personnel.
