Job summary

Atkore, based in Cartersville, GA, is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator to support production with a focus on safety and quality. You will start up and operate multiple machines, monitor performance, and help maintain continuous production of high-quality product.

The role requires a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled environment, with overtime as needed. Prior machine operator experience and ability to read blueprints are preferred. Atkore offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Experience as a Machine Operator.
• Knowledge of Production Procedures.
• Ability to Read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals.
• Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Atkore’s safety program.
• Cross train in different areas of the shop as required.
• Ensure all processes use safety controls and PPE.
• Work in a fast-paced environment following standardized work and safe practices.
• Operate and monitor multiple machines to maintain quality and minimize downtime.
• Communicate with team members to sustain continuous production of high-quality product.
• Housekeeping and sanitation duties.
• Accommodate individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
