Atkore in Cartersville, GA is hiring a Fabrication Machine Operator for 2nd shift. You will perform pre-operation activities, start up and monitor multiple machines, ensuring high-quality production with minimal downtime.

We value lean experience, safety compliance, and teamwork. The role requires stamina for a 10-hour shift and willingness to work overtime. Benefits are offered. The posted pay is $20.00/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as a machine operator is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Must be able to stand for a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled plant.
• willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Atkore's safety program.
• Cross train in different shop areas as required.
• Operate and monitor equipment to ensure quality production and minimal downtime.
• Follow safety controls, PPE and standardized work.
• Communicate with team to maintain continuous production of correct product.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation in the plant.
