This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Your role and responsibilities

1. Perform wiring activities on electrical panels for equipment.
2. Read schematics, connection diagrams, or similar documentation and wire according to those drawings.
3. Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks.
4. Maintain logs, records, and reports regarding production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
5. Maintain equipment and conveyors; perform basic repairs when needed.
6. Inventory tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate with materials handlers for supplies.
7. Periodically check products for quality and consistency; resolve issues and inform supervisor.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the role

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measures, screwdrivers, and battery-operated tools.
• Understanding of hardware components—nuts, bolts, screws, etc.
• Familiarity with 5S principles—sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain.
• Knowledge of necessary PPE and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, connection diagrams, bill of materials, and assembly drawings.
• Ability to operate cranes or other lifting devices.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Capability to safely use ladders and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to follow simple instructions and apply common sense.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
