Position Reporting To

Production Supervisor

Your Role and Responsibilities
  1. Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and available capacity into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule.
  2. Role model and support a culture that holds team members accountable for adhering to all job expectations and company policies.
  3. Share observations with Supervisor to improve team capability.
  4. Express policy and program concerns to management.
  5. Maintain zero tolerance for deviations from ABB Values.
  6. Follow all environmental and safety regulations; promote safe practices.
  7. Provide high-quality documentation and use proper communication practices.
  8. Utilize procedures and checklists effectively; update them as needed.
  9. Handle sensitive information appropriately.
  10. Coordinate with maintenance and contractors regarding department jobs.
  11. Understand key parameters of units operated and how to handle process issues or equipment failures.
  12. Apply problem solving and troubleshooting skills; recommend improvements.
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve minor problems; initiate corrective actions for major issues.
  14. Report errors accurately and timely.
  15. Understand alarm systems and emergency procedures.
  16. Engage and train team members; develop troubleshooting skills.
  17. Encourage team responsibility and provide feedback on team strengths and improvements.
  18. Commit to continual learning and promote team achievements.
  19. Develop relationships to foster teamwork.
  20. Complete assignments on time; plan and organize work effectively.
  21. Model a high work ethic; maintain operational discipline.
  22. Perform other duties, including assembly or wiring tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work with diverse cultures.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US.
