Job summary

Northern Engraving in Wisconsin is seeking Production Operators to perform light to medium manufacturing work in a fast-paced environment, across punch press, molding, adhesive/shear, assembly, finishing, inspection, overtender, or washer feeder areas.

Shifts include 1st shift 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 2nd shift 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. The role requires standing, loading/unloading parts, inspecting products for quality, completing production documentation, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, load, and move parts throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all shop cards, HF-015 procedures, VSW instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Operate punch presses and other production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload parts and materials from presses and assembly equipment.
• Use air or suction tools when required.
• Apply adhesive and assemble components as needed.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and separate defective or nonconforming products.
• Complete required production paperwork throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including 5S activities.
• Assist in other production areas as assigned.

Employees may work in punch press, molding, adhesive/shear operations, assembly, finishing, inspection, overtender, or washer feeder areas. Work is primarily performed in a standing position and involves loading and unloading parts, inspecting products for quality, completing production documentation, and following safety procedures.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.
