Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator I to operate a punch press on the 1st shift. Responsibilities include loading materials, monitoring operations, and performing routine maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines, and strong teamwork and basic math skills. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
