Job summary

Northern Engraving in West Salem, WI is hiring a Production Operator for a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work across punch press, molding, adhesive/shear, assembly, finishing, inspection, overtender, or washer feeder areas.

Shift options include 1st and 2nd, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required, and opportunities exist for growth within the plant.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, load, and move parts throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all shop cards, HF-015 procedures, VSW instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Operate punch presses and other production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload parts and materials from presses and assembly equipment.
• Use air or suction tools when required.
• Apply adhesive and assemble components as needed.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and separate defective or nonconforming products.
• Complete required production paperwork throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including 5S activities.
• Assist in other production areas as assigned.
