Position Summary

Production Operators assist other members of the production team by operating, cleaning, preparing, repairing, and monitoring the production equipment used to mix, screen, blend, grind, mill, crush, and process bulk powder compounds. They handle bulk materials, record observations, monitor processing parameters, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. This position is for the night shift, from 4 pm to 4 am, Monday through Thursday, with 8 hours of guaranteed overtime weekly.

Job Responsibilities

• Process bulk materials according to customer specifications using various equipment such as blending, grinding, crushing, jet milling, filling, conveying, and screening.
• Monitor process parameters as outlined in work order documentation.
• Read and utilize project order documentation, quality, safety, and food safety checklists to set up and operate equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment to prevent hazards, including cleaning processing equipment and workstations as per SOPs.
• Perform maintenance and re-assembly of processing equipment for subsequent use.
• Complete necessary documentation related to inventory, safety, and quality assurance.
• Participate in departmental initiatives such as inventory counts and workspace organization.
