An established industry player is seeking motivated individuals to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. This role involves essential tasks such as stocking, picking, and packing merchandise while ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards. In this role, you will work in an energized, fast-paced environment collaborating with peers to prepare and move merchandise according to established safety, production, and accuracy standards, as well as employment guidelines. You will demonstrate customer curiosity by maintaining and verifying documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the Distribution Center, ensuring outstanding product delivery to our customers.
Perform ticketing, stocking, picking, packing, counting, loading, unloading, housekeeping, and safety functions.
Ensure consistency in the quality of your work while meeting performance metrics in your assigned work areas, contributing to a positive customer experience.
Collaborate with team members through constructive feedback to support process improvements and cost reductions.
Work under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Work in multiple departments as assigned, while meeting performance metrics.
Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, bending, and stacking cartons, while standing or walking for up to 12 hours.
May be required to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. (range may vary based on work assignment).
Able to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
Utilize basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
Learn standard operating procedures through on-the-job training, including operating power industrial vehicles (PIV) where applicable.
Independently log in to computers and operate digital tablets or electronic wearable devices.
Complete a self-guided orientation on the computer or digital tablet independently.
Possess a basic level of written and oral English proficiency to communicate with Supervisors and understand safety signage and protocols for employee safety.
