Niagara Bottling, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Production Operator to manage daily production floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and achievement of production goals in compliance with all applicable food safety requirements. You will perform hourly quality checks, complete production reports, and report defects to shift leadership.

The role requires adherence to GMP and food safety standards, maintenance of materials levels, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• GMP and food safety knowledge preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara's safety, quality, and throughput standards.
• Accurately completes quality and production reports hourly; performs visual inspections to prevent non-conforming goods.
• Reports all quality defects to shift leadership and takes corrective action.
• Follows all safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains housekeeping and proper materials levels to minimize downtime on the line.
• Demonstrates ability to work in all assigned areas of production and assists with relief duties as needed.
• Maintains regular, predictable attendance and works 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as production demands require.
