Job summary

CMC is seeking candidates for roles within our steel and construction reinforcement sectors in the Houston area. You will learn and operate fabrication equipment and production machines while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and maintaining equipment, along with training on multiple machines and cross-training to support busy production lines. A strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and heat/crost.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Read and understand technical documents and service manuals.
• Maintain a high level of safety and quality in a fast paced setting.
• Demonstrate punctuality and strong work ethic during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operate production machines following established procedures.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold Safety Culture.
• Cross-train on multiple machines.
