Job summary

CMC is seeking a skilled industrial worker to join our fabrication and production teams in Houston. You’ll spend time operating fabrication machinery, loading materials, and assisting in loading and unloading stock on trailers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to read technical documents and service manuals.
• Strong work ethic and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Crosstrain on multiple machines.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders, etc.
