Job summary

Kelly Services in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a pharmaceutical manufacturing technician to operate, set up, and clean equipment in a cGMP environment and follow batch records and SOPs.

You will perform sanitation and safety, ensure compliance, and execute packaging tasks. The position is Mon-Fri 5 am–3 pm on 1st shift, paying $23 per hour, with a 6-month temp-to-hire contract under a staffing supplier.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food, or nutraceutical manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong English communication (written/verbal), basic math proficiency, attention to detail, and computer literacy (MS Office, LMS, or ERP).

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate equipment (mixers, granulators, dryers, tablet presses, blister sealers, and labelers).
• Compliance & Batch Records: Complete required documentation accurately according to cGMP standards, SOPs, and batch instructions.
• Sanitation & Safety: Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and facilities; maintain a safe work environment and strictly adhere to GMP jewelry policies (only plain wedding bands permitted).
• Process Execution: Execute manufacturing and packaging tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Demands

• Must routinely lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and move over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and twist for extended periods.

Pre-Employment Screenings

Basic Background Check, 11-Panel Drug Screen + Fentanyl, and Medical Screenings (Vision, Vitals, Urine Dip, Hearing/Audiogram, Spirometry/Respirator, and 30 lb Lifting Assessment).
