Machine Operator

Location: Twinsburg, OH / On-Site

Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 am – 3:30 pm - Weekly overtime available!

Position Overview:

The Machine Operator reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor. The job holder is responsible for operating equipment and all related processes (preparing raw materials & packaging, unloading, packing & labeling), in compliance with legal and company rules.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare raw materials and packaging: identify & prepare the correct quantities, transport to the production area, report deviations, note start and finish of processes.
  2. Operate processing equipment according to process instructions and procedures.
  3. Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates.
  4. Conduct initial testing and release of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  5. Check labels & packaging materials; ensure correct labeling following rules and instructions.
  6. Package final products in accordance with instructions and quality standards.
  7. Perform all operations in line with Quality Standards and Operating Procedures, respecting legal and company EHS rules.
  8. Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
  9. Perform other duties as requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
  • Availability to work in shifts.
Additional Requirements:
  • 1 year experience in an industrial environment.
  • Basic understanding of English.
Physical Environment:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Walk and climb stairs.
  • Use hands to lift boxes.
  • Stretch and reach with arms.
  • Stoop and bend.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Work environment includes normal chemical conditions, with typical noise, dust, and odors.

The pay rate for this role is $18.00 per hour, with compensation influenced by education, experience, certifications, and location. H.B. Fuller offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health & wellness benefits, 401K contributions, paid time off, and holidays. Eligibility varies.
