Description

The Hot Melt Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining hot melt adhesive application equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes. Their role will be key to ensuring that products meet the quality and safety standards established by the company.

Responsibilities
  • Operate hot melt application machines according to established procedures.
  • Adjust temperature, pressure, and flow parameters to ensure proper adhesive application.
  • Clean and ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain workspace organization and comply with 5S standards.
  • Verify that products meet quality standards during production.
  • Report irregularities or defects in products or equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols for handling materials and equipment.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
  • Record production data accurately in SFOL.
  • Complete work logs, shift handovers, and reception reports.
  • Coordinate with the production team to meet goals.
  • Support other production areas as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and experience preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts.
