Job Title: Machine/Production Operator

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, overtime opportunities
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Job Description:

We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator with Assembly experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling components, and ensuring the production of high-quality products. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor production equipment to meet daily output targets.
  • Perform assembly tasks, including fitting, securing, and testing components, following blueprints and work instructions.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and assembly issues, making minor adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Document production and assembly data accurately, including tracking completed tasks and recording any defects.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve challenges and meet production goals.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
  • Experience as a production operator or assembler in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with operating machines and tools, such as CNC equipment, presses, or automated assembly systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Skills:
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
  • Proficiency in data entry or using production tracking systems.
