Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Responsible for loading and unloading cylinders from inbound and outbound vehicles, including company-owned and common carrier. Assists with the movement of all cylinders as directed by management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for adherence to company policies, including safety and the use of personal protective equipment at all times. Reports any accidents or injuries promptly.
2. Operates forklift, hand-trucks, pallet-jacks, etc., safely to load/unload compressed and liquid industrial gas cylinders.
3. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with vendors, co-workers, and management.
4. Stages cylinders in designated areas for filling, minimizing handling.
5. Loads and unloads all assigned company vehicles daily.
6. Spaces trucks and trailers within designated areas.
7. Transfers cylinders to and from ground storage as needed.
8. Assists production in removing full cylinders from fill area.
9. Down grades pure product as needed to fill orders 100%.
10. Reports cylinder shortages and inspects cylinders for condition, reporting discrepancies.
11. Maintains equipment and requests repairs in writing.
12. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the assigned area.
13. Attends safety meetings and maintains a clean, safe plant environment.
14. Reports equipment or facility defects.
15. Punctuality and predictable attendance are essential.
16. Performs any reasonable work requests within qualifications.
