Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Texas, Ennis, is seeking a production/maintenance-oriented associate to support manufacturing operations on-site.

The role requires adherence to safety policies, frequent quality checks, and operation of manufacturing equipment including counterbalance forklifts. The candidate should have experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, be comfortable in dusty environments, and capable of 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended).
  • Comfortable with working in a dusty environment.
  • Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays when necessary.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety policies, programs, procedures.
  • Complete health & safety pre-start checklists.
  • Ensure product being produced meets established quality specifications.
  • Document quality checks at regular intervals.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift.
  • Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using PRODAC system and hand-written reports).
  • General housekeeping duties.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff.
