Job summary

IKO Industries is looking for a Production Operator based in the United States. You will be responsible for running the production line, operating machinery, and ensuring that raw materials are processed correctly. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, and have strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

The position offers a starting rate of $22.28/hr plus comprehensive health and dental insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k matching program.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with working in a dusty environment.
  • Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Run the production line and operate machinery.
  • Resolve line stoppages and clear equipment jams.
  • Verify finished products against quality specifications.
  • Document quality checks at regular intervals.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures.

Production Operator

Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for running the production line, operating machinery, ensuring that raw materials are fed properly through the manufacturing process, resolving line stoppages, clearing equipment jams, verifying finished products against quality specifications, and ensuring that products are properly prepared for shipment.

Compensation

Starting rate is $22.28/hr.

Job Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safety policies, programs, and procedures
  • Complete health & safety pre-start checklists
  • Ensure that products being produced meet established quality specifications
  • Document quality checks at regular intervals
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures
  • Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
  • Document production numbers, items contributing to downtime (using computerized systems and hand‑written production reports)
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy‑industrial manufacturing or construction industry preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred
  • Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Must be able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift
