Job summary

Three Rivers Energy LLC is seeking a Production Operator to ensure safety, quality, and productivity across 12‑hour shifts. Responsibilities include operating plant processes, DCS control, start‑up/shutdown procedures, and maintaining logs.

The role requires effective communication, adherence to food-grade quality standards, and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment. The position emphasizes hands‑on operation, equipment handling, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend English; legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all processes and equipment associated with the plant.
• Operate DCS (computer control system).
• Follow procedures for plant start‑up, shut down, cleaning and batching.
• Maintain accurate logs and analyze data to optimize operations.
• Load out commodities and manage railcar/tanker checklist.
• Become certified to operate rail mover, forklift, wheel loader, man lift and skid loader.
• Communicate inventory and quality control information to supervisor and shift.

Job Description

The Production Operator is responsible testing and reporting plant operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity while supporting the Company’s policies, goals and objectives. This position is scheduled in 12 hr. shifts. Weekends and holidays when scheduled.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate all processes and equipment associated with the plantOperate DCS (computer control system)Follow procedures for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning and batchingMaintain accurate and efficient logs.Analyze complied data and make adjustment(s) to optimize plant operationProduce APIs and when appropriate intermediates in accordance with pre-approved instructionsMake sure all production deviations are reported and evaluated.Make sure that production facilities are clean and when appropriate disinfectedCommunicate effectively with all personal details of what has occurred and what is supposed to be done during the next shift including the instructions in the log bookLoad out commoditiesLoad out tankers and railcars, sample and complete checklist items as per SOP requirementsBecome a certified operator of rail mover, forklift, wheel loader, man lift, and skid loaderCommunicate inventory and quality control to Production Supervisor and others as neededPerform quality control test on product streamsNotify shift supervisor of any issues or concerns regarding plant operations, etcMaintain plant facilities by practicing effective housekeeping proceduresComplete any and all tasks assigned by supervisorMaintain a team environment with all other employees and departments while providing a high level of customer service and a friendly atmospherePromote Three Rivers Energy, in the communityResponsible for following food safety regulations and company policies is essential to ensure the integrity of our food-grade production processes.
