Job summary

Cascades in Schenectady is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team on the plant floor. In this full-time role, you will load and unload materials, assist on machine setup, perform quality checks, and work with other operators to keep production running safely.

This position offers an hourly wage of $20.62 per hour, guaranteed hours, and a benefits package including insurance, retirement plan, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Forklift/Material Handling experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation on the production floor.
• Load and unload raw material and finished product.
• Work safely and collaboratively in a team setting.

What you’ll do

As aProduction Operator, you’ll be at the heart of operations—right on the floor where materials take shape. Your day-to-day:

• Support the operation on the production floor
• Load and unload raw material and finished product
• Work safely and successfully in a team environment
• Machine setup and cleaning
• Conduct quality check on finished products
• Work as a team with fellow operators on a variety of production responsibilities
• Clean up areas of the plant; assist as a general labor
• Support the team and pitch in on various tasks as needed
