Job summary

MiTek is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a production area in a fast-paced facility in New York. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting production and shipping goals and controlling costs.

You will direct supervisors and production staff, oversee training and capital projects, and ensure ERP/MRP systems support optimal planning and execution. The role requires a strong leadership mindset and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing management and/or production planning experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Strong ERP/MRP systems knowledge; SAP S4/Hana experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure safety compliance in the assigned area and with company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and assist with machine set-ups.
• Lead teams to meet production and shipping goals to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate and oversee safety and manufacturing operations training.
• Monitor inventory levels to create production plans for requirements.
• Direct and evaluate supervisors and production associates daily and long term.
• Review and approve employee time and schedules, including overtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and oversee capital expenditure planning.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance communications.

Education

Associate’s degree in a related field

5+ years of manufacturing management/production planning experience

Equivalent combination of experience and education
