Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. seeks a Production Planner to organize and optimize manufacturing schedules ensuring on-time customer deliveries.

You will manage ERP/MRP workflows, coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams, and maintain accurate inventory and lead-time data. Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree or equivalent, 1–4 years in production planning or supply chain roles in manufacturing, and strong Excel and SAP skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules using ERP/MRP systems
• Schedule customer orders based on capacity, lead times, and requirements
• Coordinate production priorities to support on-time delivery and efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Review demand, forecast, and capacity to establish lead times
• Communicate status with manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, quality, and shipping
• Identify and resolve shortages, constraints, and schedule conflicts
• Participate in inventory management including cycle counts and reconciliation
• Analyze production performance and inventory trends for improvements
• Generate reports on schedules, inventory, orders, and metrics
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
