Job summary

Flex is seeking a manufacturing operations leader to direct shift-level operations across multiple production lines in a fast-paced, technical environment in West Columbia, SC. You will drive performance to meet volume, quality, and cost goals while coaching operators and engineers.

You will partner with maintenance and engineering to optimize schedules, assess performance, and implement cost-improvement initiatives, while maintaining safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent plus 1 year of operations experience or 3 years of team lead experience.
• Proficient with office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.

Responsibilities

• Direct manufacturing operations for a shift or group of lines to meet volume, quality, and cost goals.
• Lead a technical team of professionals to ensure line success and performance.
• Evaluate plant performance and advise on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coach operators to improve capability.
• Develop and evaluate plant improvement ideas and partner with engineers on proposals.
