Job summary

Flex is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader to direct the day-to-day manufacturing activities across multiple processes/lines in a highly technical environment. You will lead a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets while coaching operators and driving improvements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, evaluating performance, coordinating with engineers on improvements, and ensuring safe, compliant operations in a busy plant setting.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor degree or equivalent experience plus 1 year of operations experience or 3 years of team lead experience.
• Ability to operate basic business software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases).
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills with ability to present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Direct manufacturing operations in a shift or group of lines to achieve volume, quality and cost goals.
• Lead a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and guide improvements in performance and capability.
• Evaluate plant performance and advise on operating changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to project teams and maintain safety standards.
