Job summary

nuuds is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to own the day-to-day production pipeline, including purchase orders, WIP tracking, compliance filings, and testing follow-through. This role reports to the VP of Product and serves as the detail engine behind production, ensuring every order and filing moves on time.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of production experience in apparel, accessories, or consumer goods.
• Proficiency with WFX/PLM and NetSuite/ERP systems.
• Hands-on PO processes and WIP reporting experience.
• Knowledge of CPSC/CPSIA requirements including CPC and GCC.
• Experience coordinating lab testing and factory inspections with overseas vendors.
• Highly organized and detail-obsessed; able to manage multiple programs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end PO lifecycle: issue POs, confirm acknowledgment, verify costs and delivery dates.
• Track PO revisions and ensure current versions across systems and partners.
• Follow POs through ex-factory to receipt; reconcile discrepancies with vendors/finance.
• Maintain a current PO status report and flag at-risk orders to leadership.
• Own the master WIP report and provide weekly status updates with vendors.
• Chase milestones (fabric booking, cutting, sewing, testing, inspections).
• Translate WIP data into concise status reports for Directors.
• Manage CPSC compliance filings (CPC, GCC) and lab test records.
• Schedule factory inspections and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance filing system and documentation.
