Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing tasks, coordinate personnel, and ensure compliance with USDA/OSHA and company policies. The role emphasizes productivity, quality, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include line setup, staff deployment, back-up coverage, data collection, and reporting. Candidates should have a High School diploma, at least 6 months in manufacturing, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Six months of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient with computers and basic math.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work under supervision, enforce policies and safety guidelines.
  • Set up lines and deploy personnel to meet production needs before shifts.
  • Understand area functions and back-up for staff absences.
  • Collect data and generate reports; share with relevant teams.
  • Train/cross-train employees in departmental processes.
  • Identify process optimization opportunities and reduce issues.
  • Support process improvements and monitor metrics.
  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute ideas.
  • Adhere to safety initiatives to sustain zero-accident goals.
  • Learn goals and collaborate with other departments to meet targets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
