Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead poultry debone and slaughter processing operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency in alignment with customer specifications.

You will supervise a team through subordinate supervisors, uphold safety programs, train staff, and drive continuous improvement while complying with USDA requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years in manufacturing; or Associate degree with 2+ years in a similar environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience leading 20+ people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with supervising and training employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity.
• Manage production process and employee performance, providing feedback.
• Promote safety throughout the work area and ensure compliance with food safety programs (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs).
• Review reporting requirements and ensure timely completion.
• Coach and train employees focusing on professional development.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA-compliant environment.
• Establish procedures to meet production schedules and budgets.
• Maximize yields and throughput while minimizing downtime and turnover.
• Plan process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
